nov and april

Mr. joe is 6 months! wow how time flies. i had this pic taken while james was out of town as a surprise.

i received this flower arrangment at the hospital from my friends linda and christy when mr. joe was born. i just found it on the computer or i would have posted it before.

august and october

in august james' dad, aunt and uncle came to visit for 3 days. i found this pic in a weird place on the computer, i like it so i'm sharing it.

mom and i would take walks in the evenings. i'd take Mr. Joe along to get him to take a nap. when it started getting really windy in october i'd bundle him up real tight and clamp his blankets to the stroller using baby links.

Mr. Joe

Mr. Joe was born mid April. i thought i didn't have time for anything before, now when i say it it is true. we had family pics taken mid may when he was almost 4 weeks old.
this is his debut photo. such a sweetheart.
i'm so excited! about 7 weeks have flown by. Went through 13 packs of newborn diapers in 6 weeks. we go through 1 carton of formula a week! Mr. Joe has had 2 rounds of antibiotics in his short life time. first for his umbilical cord and second for his right big toe. it can only get better from here! :)

my asparagus and rhubarb died. i prefer dried out to rotten! i got my garden in with help. then my mom came home with 2 flats of flowers. got those planted and went back for a few more. we came home with 3 flats of flowers, 3 yellow squash and 8 dill plants. i've never been told before that i've had to many plants in a flat but i guess i jammed them in.
had help saturday putting in 15 butterfly bushes, 9-11 blue spruce and 2 buckeye trees. they were planted in the rhubarb and asparagus bed.
